The Defect Engineering of Responsive Advanced Materials (DREAM) team at the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMOL), University of Valencia, invites applications for a one-year, full-time postdoctoral position. The selected candidate will lead research on the self-assembly of multivariate modulated metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), focusing on defect engineering, photocatalysis, and advanced material synthesis.
Requirements
PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related disciplineDemonstrated expertise in MOF synthesis and characterizationExperience with photocatalytic applications and self-assembly of MOFsProficiency in experimental techniques including XRD, TGA, SEM, TEM, FTIR, NMR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with SAXS, PDF analysis, and EXAFS using synchrotron radiation
