This role is based in Airbus Helicopters, Albacete (Spain).Responsibilities- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, System Demos, Sprint Retrospectives) and collaborate within a cross‑functional Agile Team to deliver Definition of Done increments.- Design and develop complex data models within SAP BW (on HANA / BW/4HANA);
manage back‑end extractions (ABAP, CDS views), transformation logic, and optimize queries for large‑scale industrial datasets.- Build and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines in Palantir Foundry;
utilize PySpark and SQLto transform raw data into a structured ontology that powers operational decision‑making.- Ensure seamless data flow between the SAP landscape and the Palantir environment, maintaining high standards of data integrity and latency.- Apply DevOps and DataOps principles: perform peer code reviews, automated testing, and maintain technical documentation to ensure long‑term maintainability of the data platform.- Contribute to Enabler stories to improve the architectural runway of the Data Analytics platform.Experience & Education- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, specifically focused on SAP BI and Palantir Foundry.- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Technical Skills (Hard Skills)- Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP BW;
proficiency in ABAP forETL, HANA Calculation Views and AMDP script.- Proven track record of developing in Palantir Foundry (Data Connection, Code Repos, Pipeline Builder, Workshop).- Advanced proficiency in Python (PySpark) and SQL.- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.Soft Skills- Team Player – thrive in a collaborative Agile team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting teammates to reach iteration goals.- Problem Solver – analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex data discrepancies across hybrid systems.- Communication – fluent in English (daily working language);
