The City Center is the epicenter of Cosentino’s commercial model, and its mission is to provide an aspirational experience that attracts and inspires Designers, End Consumers, Architects, and all other Cosentino business partners. It serves as a hub for our integral community and a tool for showcasing the versatility of our materials and our brands.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do
As the Showroom Specialist you will assist with the day-to-day operations in the Cosentino City showroom. Your daily tasks will include guest relations, customer service assistance, events coordination, and visiting certain customer accounts.
The goal is to identify and generate sales leads and then partner with the local sales team to follow up on the leads and convert them into sales and projects. You will also visit specific accounts, develop relationships, and generate direct sales through those accounts. You will play a key role in enhancing our showrooms within targeted local industries (builders, architects, designers, commercial, etc.) and proactively reach out to clients to achieve individual and team goals. Networking and finding business through events hosted at our City Center and showrooms are integral key parts of this role.
Sales Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage every customer and provide the best customer experience, with the goal of developing long‑term relationships and fostering brand loyalty.
- Assist all walk‑ins and customers with appointments that arrive at the showroom.
- Provide support face‑to‑face, over the phone and via email to help customers understand the benefits of the Cosentino brand.
- Develop and build relationships with design firms in the area. Manage the relationship through face‑to‑face visits outside of the showroom and generate sales through them according to the sales goals assigned to the position.
- Support the sales team by preparing sample shipments for customers and end users, checking stock for materials when requested, and highlighting possible stock issues to help them achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Work with the City Manager and Showroom Managers to increase traffic within the City Center and leads.
- Register visits and leads in SalesForce.
Organization and Administration Responsibilities
- Filter the leads of the City Center via phone call and only forward the ones with potential.
- Organize and plan events in advance, coordinating content and ensuring we have qualified attendees.
- Responsible for execution of events: invitations, catering, logistics, publicity, mailing.
- Ensure daily entry of all customer visits in Salesforce.
- Ensure the showroom is always in perfect condition, including cleanliness of all furniture, equipment, supplies, and placement of marketing materials.
- Manage and maintain the showroom: ordering and stocking supplies needed, maintaining equipment, placing marketing materials, attending visitors daily and during events.
- Manage the administrative tasks required for suppliers.
What you need to succeedProfessional Experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales.
- 1+ year of experience in a retail showroom environment providing excellent customer service with a proven track record of generating leads and converting them into sales.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in the interior design industry.
Knowledge
- Proven success in sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Knowledge of the building or decoration market (desired).
Academic Background
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a similar field (desired).
