About us
Dr. Rodolfo Salassa Boix is an Associate Professor of Tax Law (Serra Húnter Programme) at UPF. Over recent years, he has developed extensive research on carbon pricing, environmental taxes and incentives, maritime and transport emissions, and the interaction between domestic tax measures and international regulatory frameworks (EU law, OECD standards, and IMO instruments). He has published widely on these topics in high-quality international journals, many indexed in Scopus, and actively participates in international research projects, conferences, and policy-oriented academic networks.
Internationalisation is a core component of his academic profile. His research activities and publications are embedded in a broad international network spanning the European Union, the United States, and Latin America, through collaborations with universities, research centres, and international organisations. Within the MSCA framework, he is particularly committed to integrating the postdoctoral fellow into this international academic environment, facilitating visibility, co-authorship opportunities, and participation in international conferences and research networks.
