CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
(Remote - CET ± 4 h)
This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaign management and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal developers, and the CEO.
You will serve as both the technical marketing operator ensuring smooth campaign operation and the primary contact for day-to-day value delivery of our managed deliverability and profitability-focused ESP offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Operations & Analytics
* Manage the Mautic stack: installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
* Access servers via SSH to audit and optimize cron jobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with DevOps.
* Identify and fix misconfigurations such as duplicate triggers or missing messenger:consume workers.
* Run SQL queries on Amazon Athena (e.g., engagement_daily table) to validate KPIs and generate insight reports.
* Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox; maintain inbox placement >95%.
* Integrate Mautic with client websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via APIs and Webhooks.
* Customer Success & Coordination
* Act as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, and track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between dev team, yourself, CEO/PM, and clients; ensure clarity on expectations, blockers, and ETAs.
* Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next-step experiments.
* Collect feedback to create backlog items or optimization ideas.
* Project Prioritization & Growth
* Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO; prioritize tasks to maximize ROI.
* Launch mini-experiments (e.g., subject-line tests, new segments) and measure their impact.
* Identify and scope new customers fitting our profile of 10+ million emails/month.
Skills & Traits We Value
* 2-4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as the primary Mautic owner.
* Proficiency in SQL, especially on Amazon Athena (window functions, partitions, cost control).
* Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting.
* Ability to communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders about technical topics like DNS, DKIM, and roadmap trade-offs.
* Strong project management skills: attention to detail, clean kanban, 'definition of done' mindset.
* Kaizen and frugality mindset: iterate quickly, deliver value with lean resources.
* Mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) for drafting and querying.
* Bonus skills: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable; proficiency in French.
* Alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles.

Success in 30/60/90 Days
* 30 Days: Set up a new sending domain for an existing client, including DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic configurations, and documentation.
* 60 Days: Lead Customer Success for one comprehensive client, achieving consistent growth and resolving issues proactively.
* 90 Days: Manage 3 clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention and source a new customer.
