Overview Join to apply for the Data Migration Analyst role at Nationale-Nederlanden. NN Digital Hub Iberia is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group. We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Analyst to join our team and help us support the end-to-end process of transferring data from legacy to new environments and create a data mapping, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with business requirements.
Responsibilities
Perform ETL process to extract data from source systems, transform it according to migration requirements, and load it into the target system.
Develop and implement data cleansing, normalization, and transformation rules to ensure data consistency and quality.
Conduct data quality checks, validation, and error handling to maintain data accuracy before, during, and after migration.
Work with IT teams, database administrators, and business units to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
Aim for a seamless migration that minimizes disruption and maximizes data usability in the new system.
Monitor data performance and provide ongoing support to address post-migration issues.
Document each phase of the migration process, including data mappings, transformations, and quality checks.
Produce and enforce development standards and technical standards.
Who we are looking for
An in-depth understanding of insurance industry concepts, products, claims, underwriting, and policy administration.
Strong technical proficiency to comprehend current system architecture, data structures, and integration points.
Proficiency in using ETL tools and other migration solutions for seamless data transfer.
Skills in meticulous data analysis and migration, ensuring data integrity during transition.
Experience developing and leading technology engagement.
Advanced knowledge of SQL.
Understanding of best practices across technologies (client/server-side, QA, security by design, etc.).
Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules.
