We are seeking a strategic and creatively-driven Senior Manager to develop the Spain marketing strategy for Disney+. This role is key in shaping the platform's long-term positioning, defining its editorial voice, and executing with operational excellence and cultural relevance. The Senior Manager will oversee Creative Operations, Brand Campaigns, and Social Strategy for Disney+.The role involves building a cohesive brand strategy, managing creative processes, and leading social media efforts to enhance relevance, consistency, and emotional connection with the audience. Success metrics include increasing brand awareness, understanding, consideration, and excitement around content drops, in collaboration with performance and retention teams to boost sign-ups, subscriptions, and loyalty.Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy:
Lead Disney+’s marketing strategy in Spain, focusing on planning and trend analysis to grow the business.Develop and evolve local brand positioning, purpose, and narrative.Understand audience attitudes and behaviors to connect effectively.Translate business goals and insights into long-term brand strategies influencing marketing, creative, product, and content decisions.Build the brand through storytelling, focusing on perception, equity, and emotional bonds.Establish brand architecture, messaging frameworks, and creative guidelines.Collaborate with Brand Managers to ensure campaign alignment with brand strategy.Enhance campaign effectiveness through post-campaign analysis and creative testing.Monitor competition and market trends, providing strategic recommendations.Coordinate with Acquisition and Retention teams for integrated marketing strategies.Lead, motivate, and develop the brand team to foster a high-performance culture.Work with media agencies to identify growth opportunities in the market.Creative Operations:
Manage end-to-end creative project workflows for campaigns.Coordinate workflows among internal teams and external agencies.Define and improve creative processes and production pipelines.Own the local social media strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.Drive ongoing social content and campaign activations to maximize engagement.Manage a team of strategists, creators, and community managers to grow social presence.Analytics:
Work with Insights & Analytics teams to ensure consumer insights guide strategy.Use analytics to inform content development and optimize performance.Experience & Skills:
Minimum 4+ years in marketing strategy at a managerial level, preferably in FMCG, Entertainment, or streaming services.Proven success in complex matrix organizations and brand campaign execution.Strong understanding of digital content merchandising and platform UI.Deep consumer, competition, and category insights for campaign development.Advanced data interpretation and strategic iteration skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to process data into strategic recommendations and inspire teams.Comfortable with agile environments and ambiguity.Disney is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
