Job Purpose And Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities including Key Account management responsibilities. Participate in cluster budgeting and apply the sales policies in place.
FUNDAMENTALS OF THE POSITION :
* Commercial development of customer – 80% focus.
* Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your operating sector in collaboration with the N+1.
* Develop effective and shared business plans for key customers.
* Achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.
* Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to deliver profitable sales.
* Develop a clear understanding of all Dawn capabilities and communicate those effectively to new and existing customers.
* Manage all assigned accounts effectively, efficiently, and profitably.
* Continuously improve industry knowledge.
* Develop key internal customer relationships across departments such as Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, and Marketing; participate in S&OP processes.
* Provide effective and timely feedback to team members to support personal development.
* Conduct sales analysis and complete reports and sales funnel updates as required.
* Complete weekly and monthly reports in a timely and concise manner.
* Communicate effectively with all other departments within Dawn Foods.
* Provide regular management information to the N+1.
* Promote company products through attendance at trade shows and exhibitions.
* Collaborate with the NPD and marketing teams in developing new products for customers.
* Manage and control overhead expenses such as promotional funding and samples.
* Operate in a cost-effective manner.
* Develop an understanding of markets, customers, and competitors; provide insights on market trends.
* Perform any other reasonably requested duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
* Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
* Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level) and Salesforce.
* Ability to travel as needed, including flying, driving, and overnight stays.
* Minimum of 10 years experience in the Bakery Industry.
