We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer in Getafe.
Your main tasks will be:
* Design and modeling of primary and secondary aircraft structures using steel and composite materials
* Ensure manufacturability, tolerancing, and design compliance with aerospace standards
* Use 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM to manage and deliver design work
* Collaborate with stress engineers, manufacturing teams, and certification engineers
* Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation
* Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement in design methodologies
* Deliver designs in alignment with project schedules and quality targets
About you:
* You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or are a qualified CAD Design Technician
* You have 10+ years of senior‑level experience in the design of aerospace
* You have deep expertise in steel and composite structural design, manufacturing methods, and tolerancing
* You are fluent in English and Spanish
Mandatory skills:
* Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA VPM
* Strong understanding of aerospace design standards, GD&T, and design‑for‑manufacture principles
* Proven collaboration with multi‑disciplinary teams in aerospace development projects
Added Value:
* Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 aerospace suppliers
* Familiarity with configuration management and PLM systems
Mastered Tools:
* CAD: 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, ENOVIA VPM
