The Financial Crime Prevention area is responsible for preventing, detecting, and investigating illicit activities such as fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and corruption. It monitors suspicious transactions, ensures compliance with regulations (AML/CFT), and collaborates with regulatory authorities. It also develops internal policies and technological tools to mitigate financial risks. Its role is key to protecting the integrity of the bank and the financial system.
About the job:
* Develop key performance and risk indicators (KPIs/KRIs) to assess control effectiveness.
* Design and maintain dashboards and automated reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
* Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to identify trends and relationships in Fraud and AML.
* Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for executive stakeholders and board meetings.
* Ability to evaluate the impact and performance of anti-fraud and AML strategies, as well as to monitor and adjust or modify them if necessary.
* Monitoring of results, metrics and optimization of strategies according to goals or benchmarking.
* The successful candidate will need to have a passion and an in-depth understanding of business process, analytics and process optimization.
* One of the main objectives of the function is to achieve both fraud and AML targets set for the group.
Experience & knowledge
* At least 5 years working in banking, IT, security or Fraud/AML.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with profi ciency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
* Need to be familiar with fraud/AML at a mid to high level.
* University degree/ Engineer (Telco, Maths, Physics, Computing)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* CRISC Certification (ISACA) or CFE (ACFE) or ACAMS (desirable)
* B2 english level (minimum)
