Job Description:
Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new BB and upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring activity quality meets standards through calls and post-performance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform remote configuration expansions and new site integrations for 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G Ericsson sites.
2. Generate and validate scripts for integration.
3. Experience with Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP6651 integration & troubleshooting.
4. Configure RUs/RRUs/air radios.
5. Experience with DUs/DGs/DUs/DUL.
6. Handle swap activities, carrier/sector/technology addition, site modernization.
7. Configure mixed mode radios, GPS, ENDC.
8. Ensure communication and synchronization between back-office and field teams, troubleshoot installation and integration issues.
9. Configure external alarms, RET, neighbors.
10. Coordinate with field engineers for integration and troubleshooting.
11. Support external alarms, acceptance tests, RET troubleshooting, call tests.
12. Configure cells and parameters in BSC/RNC.
13. Perform software, license upgrades via ENM.
14. Manage configurations, performance, and faults.
15. Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve TXN and RF issues.
16. Work with planning and design teams to resolve design-related issues.
Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM, Winfiol/Secure CRT, WinSCP, Putty.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5+ years in Telecommunications Engineering with managerial/supervisor experience.
* Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Proficient in English; French is a plus.
