Your mission
We are looking for a professional to develop the preparation and execution of R&D&I projects, technological services (analysis and testing, technical advice), and technical training for companies in the Sustainable and Future Mobility sector, within the Technologies area. Our main R&D lines focus on technologies for vehicle lightening, smart composites, materials for LIB housings, hydrogen tanks, and electromagnetic shielding at 5G frequencies, among others. The department operates in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, naval, railway, space, and defense.
Your responsibilities
* Provide services and advice to external and internal clients.
* Coordinate and collaborate with different AIMPLAS departments.
* Draft state-of-the-art reports.
* Prepare bids and work proposals.
* Develop project proposals following institutional templates.
* Assist in budget preparation.
* Conduct technical developments.
* Perform pilot plant tests (compounding, extrusion, injection, composite formulation).
* Ensure proper functioning of managed equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance and internal calibrations.
* Search for and select new equipment or accessories based on needs and possibilities.
* Analyze results and prepare conclusions and reports.
* Present findings.
* Participate in scientific dissemination, technology foresight, and communication activities.
Your profile
You possess strong analytical, organizational, communication, and influencing skills. You are proactive, creative, flexible, customer-oriented, and demonstrate leadership. You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team player with empathy and cooperation skills.
Required Education:
Higher university degree, preferably a Master’s or PhD in Materials Engineering, Aeronautics, Chemistry, or similar.
Additional qualifications:
* Valuable specific Master’s degree in plastics materials or aeronautics.
* Proven high level of English proficiency.
Required experience:
* Knowledge of thermoplastic and thermoset composites and their transformation processes (ATL, AFP, SMC, etc.).
* Experience in stress simulation is advantageous, as is experience with sectors related to the field. We seek a versatile profile with strong business development skills and R&D project execution experience.
* Experience in mobility and transport sectors is a plus.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* B1 driving license.
