Responsibilities
- Forecast demand and provide markets with a reliable, unbiased baseline covering a 0‑24 month horizon at monthly level buckets. Include guidance to focus where it matters most.
- Own the integrated demand plan for assigned distributor markets (sell‑in, depletions, inventory context).
- Drive no or low touch forecasting by setting parameters for exception‑based planning.
- Consolidate market intelligence and commercial inputs into a single demand proposal to support execution.
- Continuously improve the demand planning process;
challenge the status quo and lead new initiatives. - Gather, analyze, and organize external data to reflect key drivers such as promotions, events, launches, and market‑specific dynamics.
- Collaborate with global CoE on strategic forecast improvement projects and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with global and regional standards.
- Act as the primary interface for Commercial, Finance, and Market Supply Chain, translating commercial inputs into planning implications and clearly articulating risks, assumptions, and scenarios.
- Lead the S&OP monthly performance rhythm, providing insights into demand drivers for the region and the commercial team.
Skills & Experience
- Analytical thinking: interpret complex data sets and make data‑driven decisions.
- Demand forecasting expertise: proficiency in time‑series, regression, and demand planning tools (SAP BI, HANA, IBP). Deep understanding of depletion‑based planning, inventory dynamics, and distributor behaviors.
- Business acumen: knowledge of supply‑chain and inventory management, and how sales, marketing, and finance drivers impact demand.
- Strategic insight: build a comprehensive view, especially in complex environments;
think outside the box and drive change. - Collaboration and communication: cross‑functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain;
strong presentation skills;
ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus. - Problem solving & adaptability: quick decision‑making in dynamic environments, flexibility to adjust forecasts, continuous improvement mindset.
- Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel, advanced SAP superuser skills, ERP experience, data visualization (Power BI).
- Language skills: fluent in English;
Eastern European languages are a plus.
