Your Mission:
As an Energy Quantitative Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing and structuring carbon-free energy products to support industrial growth in Southern Europe. Your responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating the preparation and maintenance of energy portfolio management policies.
2. Curating commodity price projection sources.
3. Modeling energy price projections based on commodities price curves, capture factors, basis risk, and curtailment.
4. Modeling energy management systems and participating in various markets.
5. Valuating contracts and options.
6. Preparing and maintaining energy portfolio management tools.
7. Calculating and reporting Value at Risk variations.
8. Assessing regulatory changes.
9. Designing and maintaining dashboards for sales and market operations.
What are we looking for?
* At least 5 years of trading experience in commodities or finance sectors.
* Deep knowledge of energy and derivatives markets such as MIBEL, MIBGAS, OMIP, EEX.
* Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling.
* Proficiency in Excel, options, algorithmic trading, Python, R, or similar coding skills.
* Advanced English proficiency for working in a multinational environment.
