Overview
Siemens Mobility is seeking a R&D; Software Testing Engineer for the Railway Signaling sector located in Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Assume assigned responsibilities during the software verification and testing phases.
- Ensure requirements traceability throughout the product life cycle.
- Develop test specifications aligned to requirements.
- Implement test automation and continuous integration for automated testing execution.
- Work in an international and multidisciplinary team.
- Innovate and research new technologies applied to products.
Requirements
- Software Engineer (Computer Science, Industrial, Telecommunications or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing projects.
- Desirable experience in testing automation including scripting and configuration of tools for automatic testing.
Knowledge
- Configuration management tools such as Subversion, Synergy.
- Automatic testing and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, SonarQube).
- Requirements and traceability management tools (Doors, Confluence).
- Assembly and maintenance of environments.
- SIL2 development techniques (CENELEC 50128:2011).
Skills
- Effective collaboration across multiple geographic locations.
- Strong communication skills and results-oriented approach.
- Good level of technical English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Leadership and organization.
- Innovative spirit and motivation to develop R&D; work in new technologies.
