Overview
A global enterprise organisation is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Network Access Control (NAC) to support critical network security initiatives. The role will focus on the deployment and optimisation of Cisco ISE within a large-scale enterprise environment, working across both on‑prem and cloud‑integrated networks.
Current Projects
* Access Control Programme – delivering authentication and secure network access for all enterprise users across the organisation.
* Virus Path / DCF Firewall Initiative – strengthening network protection and securing critical applications through enhanced firewall and segmentation controls.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement and optimise Cisco ISE within a complex enterprise network
* Deploy and manage NAC policies across LAN and Wi‑Fi environments
* Support network segmentation initiatives including VLANs, VRFs and policy enforcement
* Implement device profiling and authentication policies within Cisco ISE
* Support the deployment and operation of AWS‑hosted Policy Service Nodes (PSNs)
* Work closely with network, security and cloud teams to ensure consistent access control and policy enforcement
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex network access and authentication issues
Required Experience
* Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
* Proven background delivering NAC solutions in enterprise environments
* Experience with VLANs, VRFs, segmentation and network security policies
* Knowledge of enterprise LAN and wireless infrastructures
* Exposure to cloud‑integrated networking or AWS‑hosted environments
* Strong troubleshooting and implementation experience in network security and access control
