The position of Summer Registration Clerk will be made available at Central Office for the Summer of 2026. District Employees who are interested in this position must apply online through Frontline via the district website. The deadline for submitting is until the position is filled. Primary Purpose : Maintain accurate Summer registration records by managing online and in-person registration, communicate with parents, and ensure compliance with State and reporting standards by maintaining accurate documentation. Requirements: Act as the primary contact for parents, answering questions regarding registration, school boundaries, and required documentation. Assist parents with the online registration process through the Ascender ParentPortal. Maintain campus registration packets, verifying accuracy of forms, obtain any missing documentation, and create cumulative folders. Set the standard for courtesy, kindness, assistance and respect. Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff. Perform clerical duties as needed. Maintain confidentiality. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school graduate or GED Special Knowledge/Skills: Previous experience with Ascender Student Information System platform. Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills Must possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to perform a variety of tasks often changing assignment on short notice Must perform assigned duties with a minimum of supervision Bilingual preferred Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions. Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; occasional reaching. Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds). May work prolonged or irregular hours.
