We are building a world-class Search Engine Marketing organization and are seeking a highly dedicated, analytically-driven, and meticulous SEM Team Lead to join one of the most efficient SEM teams in Europe. We are among the top Google and Microsoft Bing customers by spend globally, working in a collaborative, agile environment composed of SEM Specialists, Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the strategic ownership and operational governance of specific, high-impact business area.
We are looking for a professional with a strong ownership mindset who thrives on complexity, demands operational excellence, and uses exceptional analytical qualifications to translate strategic objectives into reliable, structured execution. You will guide the execution team while maintaining the highest standard of data integrity and performance rigor within your assigned area.
This role focuses on performance ownership, process management, and team development for a defined scope, reporting directly to SEM Performance & Operations Lead.

What you will do: The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a SEM Team Lead, you drive performance and process integrity within your defined area of accountability:
- Strategic Performance Ownership: Own the P&L; performance, budget, and contribute to the strategic direction for your specific assigned business scope and its contribution to the overall PPC Program. You are fully accountable for monitoring performance and challenging deviations.
- Operational Execution & Process: Lead the application of operational processes for your area, including detailed Bid Management Actions, Target Adjustments, and Campaign Optimizations.
- Analytical Drive & Detail: Drive performance maximization up to most granular sub-scopes by translating high-level guidance into detailed actions. Use deep analytical skills to identify new opportunities and need for optimization.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop team members assigned to your scope, establishing efficient team ceremonies and communication flows.
- Innovation & Excellence: Proactively identify structural needs and automation potential. Ensure the highest level of Ads Excellence and overall operational quality within your assigned area.
- Strategic Alignment: Actively collaborate with the broader leadership team to ensure execution and operational standards remain consistent and aligned with overall program objectives.

- Proven Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a Team Lead or operational management role, including responsibility for team development, process definition, and performance guidance.
- Analytical Excellence (Mandatory): Excellent analytical qualifications are essential. Proven ability to deep-dive into performance data, uncover sub-scope opportunities, and translate complex analysis into detailed operational plans and strategic recommendations
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of core business drivers, company KPIs (beyond immediate PPC metrics), and the ability to link SEM strategy directly to broader business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex operational and strategic plans clearly to both team members and senior management. Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and influence decisions.
- Strong PPC Foundation: Solid experience and understanding of large-scale PPC management and trading, sufficient to oversee and challenge technical execution details (does not require expert-level tactical experience).
- Ownership & Dedication: A strong ownership mindset is a must. You must be dedicated to end-to-end operational quality, process integrity, and business outcomes.
- Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory.
