One of our clients is seeking a Purchasing Manager a dynamic professional to lead its supply chain and purchasing operations in Spain.
About the role
This strategic position will be based in Barcelona and will play a key role in ensuring the supply of high-quality products across Spain, while maintaining service levels and business continuity.
You will develop and execute a comprehensive purchasing strategy, manage suppliers and stocks, and oversee the distribution center.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise distribution and manage the distribution center
- Develop and maintain supply chain databases
- Manage supplier performance and resolve non-conformances
- Update product specifications and pricing
- Analyze departmental performance quarterly
- Support integral standardization of systems and reporting
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in Purchasing & Supply Chain (F&B; or FMCG)
- Experience managing teams and supply chain databases
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Spanish & English
- Based in Barcelona, with occasional travel
