Overview
The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the position of Executive Officer in the Social Sciences Research Center (SSRC), Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: ). The appointment is on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability, and commence as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
* Lead the supporting team in providing a full spectrum of administrative support to the senior management team of the Centre in various areas, including project management, training and event organization, general office administration, human resources, finance administration, secretarial support, liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with HKU or funders' policies and procedural requirements.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in a Social Sciences discipline, preferably with work experience in a higher education institution.
* Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua would be advantageous.
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, high IT proficiency, and quantitative data management skills.
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
mature, meticulous, anddiscreet in handling matters.
* Ability to work independently, perform diversified duties and multi-task, and work well under pressure with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Applications with relevant survey research experience will be given priority.
Salary and Benefits
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary.
