THE POSITIONS:
Avanza Sports is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidate to become an integral part of our Madrid Experience team.
This role is essential in supporting players and assisting families throughout their stay in
Madrid
, taking place from Friday,
April 10th at 4:00 PM to Monday, April 20th at 10:00 AM, 2026
.
Selected candidates will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of players (U8–U18) during the entire experience.
This position requires full commitment, as staff members must remain with the players at the residence and throughout all scheduled activities during the dates mentioned above
.
The role demands strong leadership, responsibility, and a genuine passion for working with young athletes in an international environment.
Football Coach:
The Football Coach at Avanza is responsible for leading and guiding players both on and offthe field throughout the Madrid Experience. This role includes:
* Conducting tactical talks and coaching sessions
* Leading and managing matches, including team organization and rotations
* Being present with the team and families during all scheduled activities and events
* Maintaining daily communication with families, providing updates, support, and addressing any questions or concerns
* Acting as a positive role model, promoting respect, teamwork, and a learning-focused environment

is not only technically strong as a coach, but also excels in communication, leadership, and player care, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for both players and families.
Family Chaperon:
The Chaperone plays a key role in ensuring the well-being, safety, and overall experience of the players during the Madrid Experience. This position has direct and constant contact with both players and families, acting as a main point of support throughout the week. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing daily support and supervision to players during residence stays and all scheduled activities
* Maintaining frequent and open communication with families, sharing updates and addressing questions or concerns
* Supporting the personal, social, and emotional development of the players throughout the week
* Assisting children with daily routines, adaptation, and group dynamics
* Promoting positive behavior, respect, teamwork, and zero tolerance for bullying
* Working closely with coaches and staffto ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment
* Being present with the players 24/7 during the Experience, including residence and activities
The ideal candidate is caring, responsible, proactive, and enjoys working closely with children and families in an international environment, ensuring every participant feels supported, safe, and confident throughout the Experience.

* Ability to work with kids is an asset
* Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum one year of experience working with adults and/or in event management.
* Criminal background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to):
* Travel to Madrid from April 2026 from Friday 10th to Monday 20th.
* Attend an online training course developed by Avanza Sports prior to traveling to Madrid.
* Be aware of the families' whereabouts during the activities.
* Manage and ensure a good environment in the family group.
* Follow the established schedule. Being punctual to all the games/activities is crucial.
* While a game/activity is taking place, the family chaperon must be aware of what to do and where to go once the activity is finished.
* Assist the chaperon/coach in the hotel and do constant roll calls to ensure players are wellbeing.
* Assist to create and energize activities to entertain players in between organized activities.
* Interact with staff, parents and players in a helpful and respectful manner.
* Daily Reporting to the Coordinator.
COMPENSATION & CONDITIONS:
* Honorarium: Competitive salary. Amount will be discussed during the potential interview.
* Transportation to Madrid will be provided if needed.
* Meals, accommodation, and travel expenses will be fully covered.
* Adidas Avanza Sports Uniform Kit.
