brAs the Space Business Unit of Indra Group, we combine cutting-edge technology with a full value chain approach—from satellite design and integration to ground segment and operations. Define and lead the satellite power and data distribution architecture, including interface boards, umbilicals, power distribution units and conversion electronics.
brTranslate mission requirements into power and data distribution concepts, grounding strategies and EMC performance criteria.
brLead trade-off analyses between architectures such as point-to-point, backplane or direct connection approaches.
brGenerate and maintain electrical, grounding, EMC, harness requirements, EICDs, and subsystem interface specifications.
brDevelop power budgets, energy balance analysis and end-of-life sizing for different mission scenarios.
brSupport AIT activities including functional, thermal vacuum and load test campaigns.
brAct as technical authority during project reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR).
brCollaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, VV and systems teams to define system-level specifications.
brProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
brPrepare system specifications, design reports, test plans and other technical documentation.
brA recognized engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields.
brMinimum 5 years of experience in satellite electrical design and development, including flight projects.
brStrong knowledge of spacecraft solar arrays, battery technologies and power electronics.
brProficiency with system analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or Altium.
brExperience in aeronautical/aerospace electrical architecture.
brExperience with EGSE and satellite test environments in phases C/D.
brStrong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering domains.
brHigh-level English (spoken and written).
