Position Summary:
The Renewable Energy Performance Analyst will deliver and assist in the delivery of high-impact services and digital solutions that create client value, reduce financial and environmental impacts, and develop/track performance against client goals and strategies. Schneider Electric seeks candidates with experience and competencies in the areas listed below. Overall, the analyst will serve the service delivery requirements of Schneider’s Renewable Energy Performance Services (REPS), ensuring clients receive renewable energy contract compliance verification, measurement and valuation of performance results, access to digital software tools, and ongoing renewable energy market intelligence.
Position Responsibilities:
* Learn and demonstrate increasing knowledge of energy and renewable energy management concepts, reporting, and procurement results across various markets and contract structures, with a focus on utility-scale renewable electricity power purchase agreements.
* Provide operational services fulfillment for RE Performance Service requirements, including software updates, implementation of enhancements, internal coordination of sustainability business functions, and review of delivery and client service quality.
* Support REPS delivery by organizing data inputs, updating databases, creating visualizations via QlikView and related BI software.
* Develop capabilities to innovate and create new performance applications within BI software, and fulfill related projects and initiatives.
* Support the Renewable Energy & Carbon Advisory (RECA) Sales team in creating service proposals, pricing, scope of work, and demonstrating software functionality to prospects.
* Serve as a software and service expert, providing training to colleagues and representing the service to customers regarding ongoing functionality and upgrades.
* Collaborate with external clients and internal teams globally on projects such as renewable energy research and analysis.
* Assist in increasing service and software adoption to enhance REPS capabilities and expand into new markets and technologies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Fluency in English (verbal and written)
* Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Business, Finance, or Software Engineering
* Interest and aptitude for software and digital solutions
* Versatility to learn and work across disciplines
* Ability to collaborate with internal colleagues and work well in a networked environment

* Effective written and verbal communication skills for analysis and ideas
* Analytical, self-starting with attention to detail

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with Business Intelligence software and programming (VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau, QLIKView)
* Consulting or advisory experience
* Energy industry experience (preferred)
