Job Summary
The Consumer Carepack Category Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and execution of the Consumer Carepack product category. This role focuses on driving category growth, maximizing profitability, and delivering innovative solutions that meet consumer needs. The manager serves as the primary advocate for the category, working cross-functionally with customer support, operations, finance, product development teams and markets to ensure the success of the Carepack portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Category Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies for the Consumer Carepack category, including market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and product lifecycle management.
* Pricing and Profitability Management: Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitive positioning with profitability goals. Analyze cost structures and margins to ensure sustainable growth, making recommendations for pricing adjustments as market conditions evolve.
* Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire Carepack portfolio, identifying opportunities for new product introductions, enhancements, and rationalization to optimize the product mix.
* Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities. Translate insights into actionable plans.
* Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market plans, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies that maximize market penetration and profitability.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the category expert and lead cross-functional teams in the execution of category initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability metrics for the category. Provide regular reporting and recommendations for improvement.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive category growth and resolve issues.
Education & Experience Recommended
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in product/category management, preferably in consumer goods or technology sectors.
