Currently we need to reinforce our Biotech team by incorporating an R&D Scientist.
Responsabilites:
* Develop and optimize biocatalytic reactions for the synthesis of high-added-value compounds.
* Lead and support fermentation processes, including enzyme production and microbial synthesis of target compounds.
* Participate in scaling up bioenzymatic procedures from lab to production plant.
* Design, plan, and execute experimental tasks and interpret results with scientific rigor.
* Contribute to the identification of new R&D opportunities and the writing of R&D&I project proposals.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with production and quality departments to ensure successful process implementation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering
* Proven experience in:
* Development and optimization of biocatalytic processes
* Fermentation techniques, both for enzyme and compound production
* Scale-up of enzymatic procedures to pilot or industrial scale
* Strong analytical skills and ability to work methodically and independently
* Previous experience in project proposal writing is a plus
* Personal Skills: Autonomous and well-organized, strong scientific rigor with a results-oriented mindset, proactive, with excellent communication skills and team spirit
