Account Analyst Role
Account Analysts serve a dynamic role centered on servicing PIMCO’s clients. The primary responsibility is to support client-servicing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality service. Key tasks include gathering, analyzing, and discussing economic trends, supporting external reporting, and delivering performance attribution analyses to account managers.
This position requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can:
1. Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports covering performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation, and risk metrics. Build understanding of market factors to perform qualitative, complex investment analyses. Utilize tools such as Excel, macros, query tools, Bloomberg, and Yieldbook. Support automation and streamline reporting processes. Produce ad-hoc reports and maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy.
2. Actively listen and ask questions to meet customer needs, go beyond normal responsibilities to satisfy clients, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Demonstrate integrity, focus on goals, and exhibit personal accountability. Foster teamwork and contribute to organizational growth through developmental opportunities.
Position Requirements
Requirements:
* Fluent German language skills are mandatory.
* 0-2 years’ experience in financial services, ideally in a similar role.
* Graduate with a minimum of one degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.
* Motivated to provide excellent client service and build strong relationships.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, in a complex financial environment.
* Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
* Results-oriented with attention to detail and time management skills.
