The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the execution phase of an IT project from the Open gate till the Closing of the project. The Project Manager will be required to coordinate, manage, and motivate resources (both external and internal) to ensure project delivery success. He will manage medium to complex single or multiple projects with numerous resources under their control during the project lifecycle. They will need to be experienced in cost benefit analysis, budgets, issue, risk, resource, quality and change management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource, and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan.
* Animate and lead the team involved in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by DSS CS Project Manager and Project Sponsor.
* Implement and enforce change control over project scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
* Negotiate with functional managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the project team.
* Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility.
* Continually identify and proactively manage project risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
* Monitor the project and report the project status to the management on a regular basis and in coordination with the PMO requirements
* Follow Schneider Digital Project methodology – including alignment with Agile method for Solution/Application delivery
* Take initiative to improve project management excellence
