As part of the Software Development Team in Navantiaâs BAM IS program, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the Underwater Operations Control System (SCO).
Your main responsibilities will include.
Supporting software design in alignment with system specifications.
Developing software according to technical requirements.
Performing static and dynamic software testing.
Generating software builds and managing version control.
Assisting in the execution of unit, integration, and qualification test protocols.
Providing support during ship trials (HAT and SAT).
Identifying, documenting, and resolving software anomalies detected during testing.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge naval systems, ensuring high-performance software solutions for underwater operations.
Requirements Your profile.
University Degree, Engineerâs Degree, or Masterâs Degree in Engineering or IT-related fields.
2-3 years in software development, preferably in real-time and high-performance systems.
Proficiency in Linux Operating System.
Strong experience in object-oriented programming with C++ (QT environment).
Expertise in real-time systems applications.
Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools.
Knowledge of software quality standards and methodologies.
Experience in build generation.
Hands-on experience with continuous integration, cross-compilation, and distributed compilation.
Proficiency in GIT version control system.
Nice to have.
Experience with Docker containers.
Background in software migration projects.
Familiarity with IBM Synergy.
Previous experience in Navantia Sistemasâ programs.
Understanding of Combat Systems and/or Command and Control Systems.
Knowledge of Training and Simulation Systems.
