We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to take ownership of HV and sub-station commissioning activities on a large-scale data centre project in Spain.
You will have strong high-voltage / grid-connection bias, and you must have proven experience leading commissioning activities within data centre or mission-critical environments.
This is an initial 6-month contract, starting 9th February, and interviews happening ASAP.
What you’ll be doing
Leading the planning, execution, and documentation of HV and sub-station commissioning activities.
Managing interface commissioning between grid connection, substations, and downstream electrical infrastructure.
Ensuring full compliance with client specifications, local grid requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
What we’re looking for
Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager on data centre, HV, or critical infrastructure projects.
Strong expertise in HV systems, including substations, transformers, protection & control, switchgear, and grid interfaces.
Understanding of how HV and substation systems integrate with data centre electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, LV distribution).
This role offers a Monday to Friday working pattern and would suit someone based in Spain or able to travel easily to site.
