Technical Project Manager, Clinical Enablement Team Join to apply for the Technical Project Manager, Clinical Enablement Team role at Novartis.
Summary: The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of IT projects from initiation to closure, related to the QUANTA (Quantitative Analytics) Statistical Compute Environment (SCE) used by the Advanced Quantitative Sciences (AQS) business domain. As the Technical Project Manager, you will oversee projects that include QUANTA enhancements, system integrations, and content migration. You will act as the project management lead, guiding a team of internal and external members to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget, ensuring business requirements and outcomes are met.
Responsibilities Managing the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to delivery to operations.
Engage with global business leaders and leverage IT teams to determine requirements and deliver IT solutions that improve efficiency and generate value.
Deliver projects on time and within budget and to meet the desired business objectives.
Establish the project plan and mobilize the project by confirming scope, duration, resources, roles and responsibilities.
Ensure appropriate use of project management methods and tools depending on the project type (e.g., Agile).
Direct outputs of the project team, ensuring overall success and effective use of resources.
Monitor and control execution, establish project governance, and manage risks and issues.
Ensure adherence with Data privacy, Security and Compliance policies and procedures within the Project Management scope; understand validation procedures in a GxP regulated environment.
Engage with user communities to identify high-priority areas, develop project rationale, and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility.
Develop project estimates and complete financial models (costs, savings, etc.).
Provide updated project and financial updates according to the Novartis project reporting cadence (e.g., monthly).
Present project summaries and highlight risks to senior management and steering committees.
Ensure relevant stakeholders are involved in specifying new services or major upgrades to existing services.
Help drive change management and uptake of emerging tools and ways of working.
Ensure implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose while supporting the definition, implementation and tracking of best practices.

Essential Requirements University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences or similar, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Deep expertise in Agile Program / Project Management with demonstrated experience delivering projects in a global environment.
Experience in the Pharma or IT industry.
Experience delivering GxP or related IT solutions.
Strong project and program management skills with knowledge of multiple methodologies (e.g., ICE, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall).
Understanding of current technologies in the data space and their business value.
Experience working in a multi-cultural, matrixed environment with stakeholders at business, IT and quality levels.
Proficiency in English (written and oral).
Desirable Requirements Knowledge of Drug Research, Development or Commercialization portfolios.
Any Program/Project Management Certifications.
