Customer Advocates may deliver vehicles to customers’ driveways or meet them at vending machines.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carvana’s Market Operations department is known for its team-oriented, fast-paced environment. We expect bright people who are willing to roll up their sleeves, mentor and develop team members, and assume additional responsibilities while juggling multiple projects. You’ll manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork, customer experience, employee experience, community outreach, and mentoring / training programs. This is an autonomous role requiring good decision-making, with growth potential and direct connection to leadership at Carvana’s home office in Phoenix. Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
- At least five years of relevant experience in team leadership roles managing multiple employees.
- Experience handling logistics.
- An ability to operate in ambiguity with calm and adaptability.
- An appreciation for differences of opinion.
- The savvy to manage employee and customer experience, and to thrive in challenging interactions.
- Skills to examine processes and develop creative solutions.
- An understanding that things will change and the ability to adapt.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves, take on new assignments, and juggle many things at once.

Other Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- The ability to walk / stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Requires movements with the ability to reach, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
- Requires grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent driving requires good visual activity and manual dexterity.
- Requires work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to stay in stationary positions for extended periods (e.g., when driving) up to 3 hours at a time.
- Frequently communicates with customers and must exchange accurate information.
