Little Beach House Garraf is a relaxed beachfront venue located in the coastal village of Garraf, near Barcelona. It is known for its bohemian atmosphere, good music, and Mediterranean-inspired food and drinks. Set right by the sea, it's a popular place to enjoy long lunches, sunset drinks, and a laid-back beach vibe surrounded by natural beauty.
As a receptionist with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members and guests have an amazing experience every time.
You will deliver an excellent first impression anda warm greeting to everyone as they come in. You will showcase our Values: Collaboration, Simplicity, Kindness and Passion.
Main Duties
- Ensure every member is welcomed by their name and guest is welcomed with open arm and in a hospitable manner: the Soho House way is warm and friendly.
- Answer high volume of calls for hotel, restaurant, general enquiries, messages for members, reservations.
- Well- versed on standard operating procedures, menus, amenities and pricing.
- Learn about all the different sites and how much Soho House has to offer.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment: reception area, desk, cloakroom.
- Manage guest lists, bookings on the floor level, club, roof, pool.
- Support, direct, solve problem in real- time to ensure any guest related concerns are addressed straight away.
- Assist guests by checking/ retrieving their coats and/ or items they left.
- Build a positive relationships with members and guest.
- Communicate and red flag any feedback to the management team.
- Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
- Welcome new hire and train everyone to the Soho House standards ie: Steps of service, Soho House knowledge.
What we are looking for...
- A successful Receptionist for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Organised and reliable Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
