Overview
Our client is a European B2B software group building and scaling multiple SaaS businesses across different markets. The group operates with a long-term ownership mindset and focuses on sustainable growth, strong execution, and disciplined operations across its portfolio. We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Group CEO and portfolio company CEOs to translate strategic priorities into execution, reduce execution friction, and improve how work gets done across the group.
This is not an administrative or coordination role. It is a hands-on operating role with accountability for prioritisation, follow-through, and ensuring that critical initiatives move from intent to measurable, sustained outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Partner closely with the Group CEO and portfolio company CEOs to clarify priorities, trade-offs, and focus.
* Translate strategic objectives into clearly defined initiatives with ownership, timelines, and success metrics.
* Drive initiatives through implementation and adoption, ensuring progress does not stall due to misalignment, unclear ownership, or capacity constraints.
* Identify recurring execution issues and organisational bottlenecks, and drive practical, sustainable solutions.
* Design and embed pragmatic operating systems (goal setting, KPIs, review cadence, dashboards) that support consistent execution.
* Contribute to the execution of organic growth initiatives (pricing, monetisation, retention, sales effectiveness), with attention to margin and scalability.
Requirements
* Experience in execution-focused roles working closely with CEOs or senior leadership (e.g. Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Transformation, or Operating roles).
* Proven ability to take initiatives from definition through implementation to measurable outcomes.
* Exposure to B2B SaaS, technology-enabled, or private equity–backed environments.
* Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to make and communicate trade-offs under pressure.
* Clear, direct communication style and comfort constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
* Experience operating across multiple functions without direct line authority.
