We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineer.This role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.Key Details:Start Date:Mid-April.Duration:3 MonthsLocation:Spain (Hybrid role with on-site visits required to Madrid)Language Requirement:Fluency inEnglish and Spanishis essential.Essential Skills & Qualifications:The idóneo candidate will have strong technical expertise in cloud data engineering and related disciplines, including:5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance data pipelines for both streaming and batch data sources.Experience in building and maintaining data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring data quality, reliability, security, and scalability on Google Cloud PlatformExperience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.Experience in Big Query, SQL, Data ingestion, data tokenization.and AirflowExperience coding in Python, including data structures, algorithms, and system and software design.Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery.Obtained Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certificationAbility to communicate and work fluently in English and SpanishPreferred Qualification:Experience in technical consulting.Experience in advanced SQL tuning and optimization for cost and performance.Experience in Looker.Experience in building data streaming processing pipelines and understanding of event delivery semantics.Experience architecting, developing software, or building production-grade Big Data solutions on public Cloud managed services.Experience in collaborating with data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions accordingly.
