The role is a field-based role available in multiple cities across the "Levante" region of Spain, including regional travelling (involves extensive Leading Specialists interactions).
We are searching for the best talent for Medical Scientific Liaison in Levante.
Purpose :
To maximize company product value through high scientific quality communication with Leading Specialists on a peer-to-peer basis. Accordingly, to strategic lines of Medical Affairs Plan, the MSL is jointly responsible for achieving short-term and long-term company goals at local level.
To be a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patients' treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other stakeholders) and to be considered an internal and external trusted scientific counterpart.
You will be responsible for :
* Developing and executing Activity Plans aligned with the Medical Affairs Component of Brand Plans.
* Keeping abreast of medical and scientific knowledge.
* Developing and maintaining a contact network with Leading Specialists.
* Communicating medical scientific data proactively and reactively.
* Organizing and participating in Medical Education activities at local & regional levels.
* Organizing and participating in Advisory Boards.
* Engaging in Market Access Discussions.
* Supporting Pre-Approval Activities.
* Providing scientific support to Sales Representatives.
* Implementing Medical Affairs Plans locally.
* Gaining insights into treatment patterns and scientific activities.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance including Pharmacovigilance.
* Following principles, procedures, and training in the SAFE Fleet program.
* Supporting GCO studies and reporting adverse reactions within 24 hours.
Additionally, for all employees involved in Research Related Activities (RRA) :
* Meeting safety reporting requirements.
* Ensuring compliance with HCC and legal requirements.
* Maintaining inspection readiness regarding personal training compliance.
Qualifications / Requirements :
* Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Nature Science university degree, or related qualification (e.g., psychology degree).
* Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area, research skills, and ability to interpret medical data.
* Relevant work experience, scientific acumen, and communication skills to be accepted by Leading Specialists.
* Customer-focused with awareness of business results.
* Innovative and capable of managing a complex, changing environment.
* Adherence to Johnson & Johnson Credo values and Healthcare Business Integrity Guide.
* Valid driver's license.
