We are looking for a Senior IT Delivery Manager / Lead IT Project Manager with a solid experience to join a long-term, stable position within a leading multinational group in the aviation and travel sector.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of IT projects, a major IT programme, or the technology delivery scope within large-scale business transformation initiatives for a global organisation in the industry.
Owns successful delivery of a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, timeline, governance, and stakeholder expectations.
Leads and supports IT Project Managers, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure consistent delivery across all projects.
Oversees the full IT delivery lifecycle: scoping, design, integration, testing, implementation, and service transition—ensuring compliance with cyber security and IT standards.
Manages project financials, contracts, and vendor deliverables.
Builds and coordinates cross-functional and virtual teams, aligning roles and responsibilities across stakeholders.
Ensures smooth handover to IT Support and operations, following service transition frameworks.
Interfaces with both internal (architecture, support, cyber, procurement, business teams) and external (vendors, partners) stakeholders.
8+ years of experience leading and managing diverse IT delivery projects end-to-end.
~ Strong background in all IT project phases: scoping, gathering non-functional requirements, solution design, testing, implementation planning, and support model definition.
~ Proven track record delivering IT solutions in areas such as HR, Finance, Procurement, or Sustainability (e.g., SAP, Workday).
~ Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience delivering tech and process improvements in both startup and complex corporate environments.
~ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills; Experienced working with cross-functional teams: engineers, architects, SMEs, and business leads, including virtual/global teams without direct reporting lines.
~ Proficient in tools like Jira; The chance to take part in challenging projects within a dynamic environment.
