We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant & AP to join the Finance team based in Barcelona, reporting directly to our Finance Manager. They’re seeking candidates who share the passion and ambition for continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and record supplier invoices in the accounting system, and execute payments in accordance with agreed terms.
Regular reconciliation of accounts payable and communication with suppliers to resolve any issues.
Participation in monthly closings, handling treasury account reconciliations, expense provisions, and supplier invoices.
Collaborate with the HR team on payroll management, payment, and accounting.
Work with external tax and labor advisors to prepare and file different tax and social security returns (monthly and quarterly).
Review and process employee expenses and corporate credit card payments.
Requirements:
General accounting knowledge is essential to contribute effectively to financial and analytical closings.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Accounts Payable roles is a must.
High level of both Spanish and English.
Experience with NetSuite is a big plus.
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
