The Account Manager, Hotels & Resorts, is a key member of Virtuoso’s global team, responsible for working with Virtuoso’s global Preferred Partners in the assigned region. The role involves supporting the regional General Manager by identifying and engaging potential regional Preferred Partners, executing the regional sales strategy, and contributing to global business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong partner relationships to achieve shared strategic goals.
* Achieve KPIs related to revenue, marketing sales, and event attendance; maintain Partner Briefs on the CRM platform.
* Communicate proactively with global colleagues, sharing feedback and intelligence.
* Participate in company initiatives, committees, and communities.
* Implement action plans with partners to drive growth and engagement, measuring KPIs.
* Engage partners in market events.
* Conduct competitor analysis and report findings.
* Manage critical partner matters.
* Represent Virtuoso at industry trade shows and conferences; solicit new partners.
* Create content and conduct monthly regional updates for partners.
* Attend industry events outside normal hours as needed.
* Manage projects supporting revenue and partner growth.
* Work within budget to meet strategic goals.
* Educate and train partners on Virtuoso products and services.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Travel & Tourism, or Marketing.
* 4-6 years of relevant experience, including industry knowledge and strategic account management.
* Innovative, forward-thinking, curious, and creative.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and strategy skills.
* Proficiency in CRM platforms.
* Knowledge of current market trends.
* Intermediate analytical skills for data analysis and decision-making.
* Strong collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Results-oriented with a focus on delivery.

Travel Requirements: Travel more than 20% of the time, mainly internationally, to visit partners and attend events.
Type/Nature of Contacts:
* Internal: Supports the regional Account Director, interacts with Global Partner Relations team and the General Manager.
* External: Primarily in-market with global and regional preferred partners.
