Your Responsibilities The Manager – Group FP&A & Reporting supports the VP Finance in strengthening the reliability, speed and discipline of Centogene’s financial reporting and planning processes. The role combines financial planning and analysis with strong accounting expertise, ensuring that group financial results are prepared accurately, reviewed analytically and delivered on time. A key focus of the role will be to accelerate the monthly close process, support budgeting and forecasting, strengthen accounting quality, and improve financial data quality across international affiliates. 1. Monthly Close & Financial Reporting Coordinate and support the group monthly close process across affiliates. Prepare monthly management reporting numbers for group consolidation. Perform analytical review of P&L and balance sheet movements. Resolve intercompany reconciliation differences and reporting discrepancies. Support preparation of consolidated financial reporting packages. Contribute to reducing group closing timelines and improving reporting discipline. 2. Financial Planning & Analysis Support preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial models. Perform monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Budget) and explain key drivers. Develop financial models and performance analysis for management reporting. Prepare analysis required for management and investor updates. Support working capital tracking and operational financial performance analysis. 3. Technical Accounting & Audit Support Support the finance team on complex accounting matters under IFRS and local GAAP frameworks. Prepare technical accounting documentation and memos where required. Support & co-ordinate the external audit process and ensure documentation readiness. Assist with accounting treatment of acquisitions, integrations and purchase price allocation (PPA) when required. Strengthen accounting policies and documentation standards across the group. 4. Affiliate Reporting & Data Quality Work closely with international affiliates to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Review affiliate submissions and identify data quality issues or inconsistencies. Support implementation of standardized reporting templates and chart of accounts mapping. Drive improvements in upstream financial data quality and reporting consistency across entities. 5. Finance Process Improvement & Integration Support integration of new affiliates into group reporting and finance processes. Assist with improving reporting workflows and financial processes. Contribute to automation initiatives and reporting efficiency improvements. Your profile 5–8 years professional experience in audit, financial reporting or FP&A. Big 4 audit background strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and experience with local GAAP environments. Experience with group reporting, financial analysis or consolidation environments. Strong Excel skills, including advanced data modelling (Power Pivot). Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is an advantage. Experience working with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred. Fluent English required Structured, analytical and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment.
