The Sales Engineer in/around the Madrid area will be responsible for driving technical sales, providing exceptional customer support and account management for customers in aerospace, defense, space etc. This role will focus on understanding customer needs, delivering tailored technical solutions, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and experience in technical sales.
Technical Sales: Develop and execute technical sales strategies to meet company goals and targets in the Madrid region.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Glenair’s presence in the Spanish market.
Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights and recommendations to the Regional Sales Manager
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Represent Glenair at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and network with potential clients.
Training: Conduct product training and technical presentations for customers and partners.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of technical sales experience in the aerospace, defense, or other mission critical markets.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of engineering principles and technical sales processes.
