The
Sales Backoffice Team for Order to Delivery (OTD)
manages the central OTD delivery across Europe. This role reports to local management and is guided by HQ (SC/SDP), the business area responsible for the
RotF project (agency model) .
As a Specialist, you will act as the
final gatekeeper, ensuring customer orders are accurate, compliant, and ready for delivery. Your work will be key to maintaining operational excellence and delivering a great customer experience.
Your responsibilities
Order Management
Review and verify customer orders and amendments
Check commercial aspects (solvency, discrepancies, deadlines, delivery conditions)
Ensure compliance before releasing orders
Damage & Payment Handling
Collaborate with service providers on claims processing
Coordinate repair payments with retailers
Manage billing with insurance companies
Provide payment documentation to stakeholders
Logistics
Verify transport invoices and clarify with providers
Act as first point of contact for A2A transport topics
Manage tickets (e.G., cancellations due to damages)
Quality & Compliance
Perform final checks before orders move to production and delivery
Monitor processes and maintain documentation for audits
Ensure all documents meet Mercedes-Benz and legal standards
Your profile
Bachelor's degree, commercial apprenticeship, or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data
Experience in back-office, order, logistics or damage processes
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Languages
Fluent English (written & spoken)
German is a plus (B2–C1) or willingness to learn
Additional languages like Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or French are valued
