Job Summary
As a Research Analyst, you will be part of our Operations team and will report directly to the regional team leader. You will be an individual contributor, working alongside Senior Research Analysts and Editors to support projects and your professional development. Your responsibilities include conducting research on internet and web-based media databases, and writing high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using a mix of publicly available and proprietary sources. Ensuring reports meet quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness standards is essential, in line with The Search Group’s standards.
Role and Responsibilities
* Conduct research on internet or web-based media databases.
* Produce high-quality reports involving research and analysis in different languages. Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages is required: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Arabic, French, Polish, or Czech.
* Perform first-level quality control through peer review.
* Carry out watchlist database screening for Due Diligence checks.
* Provide input to improve report writing processes for better quality and efficiency.
* Engage with the Research team in other offices, seek feedback, obtain updates, and manage report delivery expectations.
* Stay informed about regional and industry trends.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integrity of key products.
* Participate actively in ad-hoc projects on short notice.
Qualifications, Skills & Education
* Degree in Law, Political Science, International Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in due diligence, professional services, or similar report generation.
* Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Lithuanian, Arabic, French, Polish, or Czech. Additional languages are a plus.
* Ability to oversee and support other research analysts and monitor their work.
* Leadership and project management skills.
* Strong research skills across media; understanding of risk and compliance issues.
* Ability to conduct ad hoc and bespoke research.
* Proficiency with Office tools, internet searches, and social media.
* Consistent punctuality in report delivery.

* Client-focused approach and high integrity.
