The Role
As a Senior UX Researcher at Nespresso HQ, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our user experience by leading comprehensive research initiatives. Your expertise will guide our Strategy, Content, Product Design & Development teams in creating intuitive, user‑centric solutions that resonate with our diverse user base. You will collaborate closely with a skilled team of UX/UI Designers, Product Designers, and fellow UX Researchers to create seamless, user‑centric digital solutions and drive the optimization of the customer experience (Digital & Physical) for Nespresso's web e‑commerce, Apps, Machines, Employees and more.
In This Role, You Will
* Lead end‑to‑end user‑centric research for digital design processes, ensuring teams understand customer needs, feelings, behaviors, motivations, and barriers.
* Adapt research methods for digital and physical experiences, tailoring techniques to specific challenges.
* Utilize visionary skills to analyze concepts and transform them into detailed, disruptive insights that reflect customer emotions.
* Champion brand knowledge through research on positioning, perception, trends, and benchmarks.
* Conduct comprehensive user research to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences.
* Collaborate across teams, working with product managers and engineers to define requirements, ensure design feasibility, and translate concepts into pixel‑perfect code.
* Develop cohesive design solutions for web and mobile applications to ensure a consistent, user‑friendly experience.
* Organize and conduct qualitative usability testing sessions, using feedback and data‑driven insights to refine designs and enhance usability through A/B testing.
* Lead efforts to deeply understand user journeys across various channels.
* Mentor and guide team members and stakeholders, providing clear communication and simplifying complex information.
* Create detailed reports and summaries to communicate research findings effectively.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Research, Service Design, Psychology, or a related field.
* Minimum 8 years of experience as a UX researcher or service designer, with a focus on leading research initiatives in complex, user‑centric projects.
* Proficiency in a variety of research methodologies and tools, including qualitative methods and software (e.g., Maze, UserTesting). Quantitative research experience, designing quantitative research plans, A/B testing, and surveys.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
