The HR Specialist is meant to add value to the business working with the RPC HR Director to support the HR topics across the cluster. The incumbent is to provide with a comprehensive, professional and customer focused HR service to the mill employees and managers and to support the implementation of the HR strategy.
Primary Duties
Employee Relations
* Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with, managers, suppliers and
* other third parties demonstrating professional credibility at all times and providing an excellent
* HR service to the business.
* Provide advice and assistance to managers on HR policies, procedures and legislation, ensuring that they are accurately interpreted and up to date information is provided.
* Advice and support management teams on matters such as pay reviews, reward management,disciplinary procedures, grievances and performance issues.
* Maintain the cluster HR Director and other divisional senior management informed on any relevant concerns.
Recruitment and Selection
* Team up with other managers at Cluster level to ensure that the appropriate talent is sourced to meet business needs in a challenging environment.
* Carry out interviews together with line and senior management, ensuring that the company
* recruitment policy is adhered to at all.
* Management Development/Training
* Drive effective delivery of HR processes including performance appraisals and talent
* management, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and reward
* management.
* Ensure that a culture of performance management is developed and that training and development needs are identified during the process or from business planning needs and are followed up.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and help drive organizational performance through the development and engagement of high performing employees.
* Support the organization providing training programmes to guarantee the knowledge of the
* Teams in terms of Leadership, Technical matters, safety matters
Job Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as HR Generalist with strong emphasis on Labour/employee relations and talent/retention processes.
* Human Resources qualification
* English with a minimum of B2 level (Common European Framework, CEFR)
* Strong communication skills with a genuine interest to establish collaborative relations with people.
* Pro-active, analytical thinking and problem-solving orientated.
