Your Strategic Partner for HR, Payroll & Headhunting Solutions
TheHRChapter is hiring a Freelance Project Lead to support the coordination and execution of high-impact, multidisciplinary projects across our purpose-driven startup. This is a part-time, project-based freelance role with flexibility and real potential for growth. You will help drive and coordinate high-impact initiatives across all areas of our growing, purpose-driven startup — from product and community to marketing, business development, HR, and tech. You'll work directly with the founding team to bring structure, visibility, and progress across multiple strategic projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Responsibilities
* Project Ownership & Coordination
o Plan, coordinate, and follow through on business-critical projects
o Work cross-functionally with tech, design, content, HR, and marketing collaborators
o Translate strategic goals into clear action plans, timelines, and milestones
o Monitor progress, flag risks, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
* Business & Community Development
o Support the launch and growth of a global online community, including monetization strategies (courses, premium content, etc.)
o Coordinate with tech and content teams to develop a user-friendly digital platform
o Help define and activate business development initiatives aligned with company goals
* Website & Tech Oversight
o Lead the migration of websites, ensuring seamless UX, performance, and content integrity
o Align technical development with evolving business needs and opportunities
* Event & Program Management
o Curate topics and coordinate virtual events (webinars, workshops, panels)
o Oversee event logistics, speaker coordination, promotion, and audience engagement
o Ensure events are aligned with our broader brand and growth strategy
* Marketing & Communications Support
o Collaborate with content and marketing teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
o Support planning of social media content, blog development, and SEO-friendly initiatives
* Talent & Team Coordination
o Work with HR and hiring teams to track recruitment workflows and team growth
o Facilitate coordination across remote teams and time zones
What do you need to be successful?
* Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary projects in a remote, fast-paced environment (startup or digital business background is a plus)
* Strong skills in organization, communication, and stakeholder management
* Ability to manage priorities and navigate shifting requirements across multiple workstreams
* A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and focus on results
* Comfort using tools like Notion, Trello, Slack, Airtable, CMS platforms, and webinar software
* Fluency in English;
Spanish or other languages are a plus
