Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales of Iberia.
1. Provide a day-to-day interaction between Vestas and targeted the customers. Also to have the knowledge and skills to understand the customer business case in order to ensure optimal and winning value propositions.
2. Screen and evaluate sales opportunities.
3. Prioritize projects and customers towards best resources use optimization Skills to develop sales Engineers
4. Coordinate the entire sales cycle: from identifying potential customers, quoting and optimizing deals to negotiating and concluding contracts for the delivery of wind energy projects
5. Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration in a matrix organization. Skills to Coordinate and specify technical, financial, pricing, legal, construction and service solutions for the customers, in close corporation with other Vestas departments.
6. Establish, develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders (existing and potential customers, authorities, utilities).
7. Monitor market development and trends
8. Input to the development of Vestas' regional commercial strategy
Qualifications
9. BS/MS degree in engineering, business administration or a related field
10. 5 years of experience in sales in the energy industry, machinery, construction, large infrastructure projects or large manufactured products, or related environment. Having some experience in sales in the wind energy sector is an asset.
11. Solid commercial and legal experience from exposure to/understanding of customers.
12. Fluency in English and Spanish

Additional info
Living in Madrid is required.
Availability to travel is required. Travel is expected 1 or 2 days per month.
