Summary
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Manager responsible for driving marketing programs and commercial execution for the Southern Cluster Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece). The role will operate within the Southern Cluster structure alongside other regional stakeholders such as Medical/Clinical, Finance, Training & Education, Comm Ex, Supply Chain, R&D, RA, Market Access, Digital Marketing, GPR, etc., as well as the Renal EMEA team. The goal is to ensure the regional team has clear direction and effective traditional and digital tools/programs to approach healthcare professionals and payers in this virtual setting. Regional Marketing partners with countries to enable commercial execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales. Travel expected up to 30% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Act as the primary Southern cluster contact point for marketing in Europe.
* Establish and lead regional strategy and business focus areas, ensuring alignment with country strategies.
* Own launch execution readiness, effectiveness, and compliance; identify gaps and drive improvements.
* Analyze business performance and recommend enhancements.
* Lead cluster-wide activities and replicate successful strategies across markets.
* Communicate cluster needs and market insights to relevant stakeholders.
* Coordinate with Kidney EMEA team and countries, liaising across functions.
* Gather inputs for Target Product Profiles and coordinate financial business cases.
* Provide data and insights to optimize product portfolio and growth.
* Support revenue growth with a focus on remote selling and product penetration, leveraging digital formats.
* Design and execute multi-channel campaigns aligned across customer lifecycle.
* Gather market insights to inform outreach strategies and increase lead quality.
* Guide countries in developing annual commercial plans aligned with regional segmentation.
* Build relationships with key opinion leaders and gather insights for segmentation and positioning.
* Provide product, technical, and competitive knowledge to enhance team effectiveness.
* Ensure adherence to pricing strategies.
Job Requirements
* Extensive marketing and commercial experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry, familiarity with Surgery and/or Operating Theatre environment. Nephrology experience is a plus.
* University degree: Master’s/PhD, MBA preferred.
* Proven success in driving new product sales.
* Background in strategic planning and business development helpful.
* Training and experience in Digital Marketing with a track record of performance.
* Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
* Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and collaboration skills across cultures.
* Proven success working in a matrix, cross-functional environment.
