Business Controller Production Company Zaragoza - Atlas Copco
This role is the financial lead for PC Zaragoza, reporting to the GM Product Company and working with the Division Business Control team.
Your Mission
Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support management in making informed decisions. Drive operational excellence through cost optimisation and efficiency gains. Lead forward‑looking planning, directing the company annual plan, incorporating scenario modelling and proactive counter‑measures. Build an agile controlling and reporting framework enabling actionable insights and data‑driven decisions. Promote the adoption of shared services through process harmonisation and continuous improvement for scalable efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Oversee PC's profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Ensure accuracy of market contributions, working capital, receivables, and payables.
* Deliver prompt, useful financial reports, explain variances and provide insights for better decision‑making.
* Maintain working capital accuracy and support capital investments with thorough analysis.
* Handle accounting & financial procedures, ensuring compliance with laws, corporate policies, and auditor requirements.
* Provide general financial advice, contribute to investment proposals and lead finance‑focused projects.
* Guarantee adherence to accounting standards and strong internal controls.
* Ensure internal control processes and group processes are implemented.
* Participate in business activities, actively contributing to business development.
* Raise red‑flag alerts to operational and holding management when compliance risks arise.
Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience in a financial environment.
* Experience managing a finance team.
* Exposure to international business environment & large company.
* Advanced MS Office skills; Power BI and other analytical tools advantageous.
* Experience with systems and ERP projects implementation is a plus.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Spanish statutory, legal and taxation requirements.
* Previous experience in GEMS/SAP migration.
* Evaluate and challenge business status.
