Your role
The Account Manager role will focus primarily on opening new opportunities via existing and new accounts, with the secondary responsibility of ongoing account management of a portfolio of named accounts.
What you'll do
Client Management (New & Existing)
* Revenue Growth: Attract additional business from existing customers and protect current revenue streams.
* Relationship Building: Create and nurture relationships with customers, ensuring consistent engagement and support across geographies and functions.
Sales Process Management
* End-to-End Sales: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate and updated sales data.
* Negotiations: Handle commercial and contract negotiations within predefined guidelines, covering aspects like SLAs, pricing, and liabilities.
Proactive Revenue Management
* Account Development: Deepen relationships with key decision-makers to retain and expand revenues aligned with customer business strategies.
Salesforce Management
* Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on sales activities, opportunities, and pricing, leveraging support from the local sales team.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
* Demonstrable and solid understanding of direct and indirect sales and the Data Center industry.
* Well-networked individual with companies (globally) in the colocation industry.
* Understanding of regional market geographies, culture, and dynamics.
* Proven ability to articulate clear value propositions and negotiate complex agreements in multinational settings.
What you'll need
* Proven success in sales, preferably within the data center or network solutions industry.
* Strong understanding of data center operations, network infrastructure, and related technologies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
* Industry knowledge and consultative selling skills.
* Negotiation skills, creative in solutions but protecting the company's interests.
Qualifications
* Experience in winning large, complex international deals as well as SME-type deals.
* Experience working with fast-growing start-ups and headquartered organizations.
* Fluent in English, both written and oral.
Additional Requirements
* Ability and willingness to travel.
