Our client, one of the fastest growing inverter companies in the world, is looking for a Sales Manager Iberia.
Responsibilities
* Possess a detailed understanding of partner (installer and distributor) economics with demonstrated ability to assess a partner’s business and jointly develop successful strategies to incorporate and sell the company products in a way that positively impacts all aspects of the partner’s P&L.
* Develop and execute joint business plans to drive the company revenue and market share at partner accounts, including but not limited to negotiating supply agreements, providing product training, assisting in the development of co-marketing/demand generation campaigns, introducing new products, and managing day-to-day business issues.
* Territory planning and management skills including accurate forecasting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Manage a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives, including acquiring new customers as appropriate.
* Effectively prospect for and qualify new project opportunities and guide each qualified opportunity from project identification to successful system activation.
* Manage corporate communication to customers regarding pricing, new products, and marketing programs.
* Conduct monthly reviews of forecast and order backlog with customers.
* Travel nationally to partners, regional shows, and events as required.
* Track metrics to evaluate partner performance.
Requirements
* Active industry network in Spain and Portugal.
* Minimum of 5-10 years proven B2B sales experience in a high-tech industry selling via indirect channels such as authorized dealers and distributors of electro-mechanical equipment/devices.
* Experience in solar industry and strong channel network know-how are required.
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, marketing, or finance, preferred.
* Significant travel required.
* Fluency in English.
